Julien DENIS, post-doctoral researcher at PIIM Laboratory in the PATP group, has obtained a EUROfusion Researcher grant funded by the EUROfusion consortium.
Within the next two years, he will study the impact of the beryllium first-wall temperature on the retention and outgassing of hydrogen in both the reactor JET and the future reactor ITER. This work will be mentored by Yves Ferro (PIIM, Aix-Marseille University) and Yannick Marandet (PIIM, CNRS), and will be done in collaboration with ITER Organization and Jülich Forschungszentrum (Germany).
